RNIB and HMRC tax advice service
RNIB and Her Majesty's Revenue and Custom (HMRC) have launched a new service to support blind and partially sighted people with tax and benefit issues.
You can call the helpline to check that you are getting the benefits, concessions and tax allowances that you are entitled to and find out about other services provided by RNIB and Action.

Injustice of Welfare Reform
Poverty and isolation await many visually impaired people if the Welfare Reform Bill is passed in its current form, according to research supported by Action. We cannot allow this injustice to happen. Blind and partially sighted people need support to secure employment and to manage the extra costs of living with a disability, not the threat of losing their benefits.
